This annual event was created by Southwestern University (May Fair), then run by Preservation Georgetown who passed it over to the city when it became too large for a volunteer organization to manage "Rain or shine," the parade will usher costumes, floats, giant creatures of the night, zombies, and marching bands (and who knows what else) down a half-mile route that starts at Mini Mart City Park, flows past Oxbow Park, and concludes at Star Brass Works Lounge.
